ABOUT PATH & PLACE
I’ve always been curious about how the places we live can shape the way we experience life.
I grew up in Japan and moved to the UK when I was young, eventually building a life and career in London. After many years in London, I reached a point where I began questioning whether the life I had created was truly the life I wanted.
Leaving London and spending more time living and travelling abroad opened up a different perspective for me — that sometimes, changing our surroundings can help us see ourselves and our possibilities differently.
This journey led me to astrocartography. I’m now a certified astrocartographer, combining formal training with my own experience of navigating life across different places and cultures.
I don’t believe a map can tell us where we should live, or that one place will magically change our lives. But I do believe place can be a powerful lens for exploring who we are, what we need, and how we want to live.
That’s the idea behind Path & Place.
